Our Approach to Missions
At Faith Arlington, we believe living on mission is the natural overflow of becoming more like Jesus. As we attend, belong, and become, we begin to love what He loves, serve where He served, and join Him in His mission.
The Great Commission isn’t simply a mission statement—it’s the mission Jesus gave His Church. Every follower of Jesus is called to make disciples who make disciples, whether at home, in our community, or around the world.
We live on mission by following four simple rhythms: Pray. Give. Serve. Go.
Living It Out
Living on mission isn’t reserved for a mission trip—it’s a lifestyle of faithfully following Jesus wherever He leads.
Whether you’re praying, giving, serving, or going, every follower of Jesus has a role in God’s mission. As we become more like Christ, we live out His ways by joining His mission in our homes, neighborhoods, workplaces, communities, and to the ends of the earth.

Local Missions
Living on mission starts right where God has placed us. Through strategic partnerships, community outreach, and serving opportunities across the Mid-South, we seek to love our neighbors, meet practical needs, and share the hope of Jesus. We believe our homes, neighborhoods, schools, workplaces, and city are all places where God has called us to faithfully represent Christ and make disciples. Mission Trip Opportunities
Mission trips provide an opportunity to serve others, grow in your faith, and experience God’s work in new ways. Whether serving nearby or across the globe, each trip is an opportunity to share the love of Christ, encourage local churches, and meet practical needs. We invite you to prayerfully consider how God might use you through future mission opportunities.
Pacaya, Guatemala
Our Pacaya Guatemala team takes a team of 20 each summer to serve local families with a heart to meet practical needs and share the hope of Jesus.
Our team serves the community by building homes, visiting families to pray and share the gospel, providing food baskets and water filters, leading Vacation Bible School, and serving meals to children through a local feeding program.

Japan
Faith in Japan began through John Hayes, a member of Faith Arlington, with a heart to share the hope of Jesus and support churches and missionaries in Japan.
With fewer than 1% of people in Japan identifying as Christian, many communities have little or no access to a local church. Our team partners with local churches and missionaries by providing resources, leading Bible studies, helping with Vacation Bible School, and supporting the work already happening in their communities.
